Why I Don’t Answer the Phone (And Why That’s a Good Thing)

Let’s just get this out of the way: If you’ve ever called Pampered Aesthetics and heard nothing but the sweet serenade of voicemail... it’s not you. It’s me.

But hear me out — there’s a very good reason I don’t answer the phone. In fact, there’s several. And they all come down to one thing: you. When you're lying on the treatment table, you’re not sharing my attention with emails, phone calls, or TikTok (although I do love a good scroll when the day ends).

You get my full, uninterrupted, totally obsessed-with-your-skin focus. That means when I'm mid-facial, I’m in it — mixing serums, massaging tension, and yes, occasionally holding my own pee until you're glowing and out the door. Answering phone calls during a treatment just isn’t an option — not because I don’t want to speak to you, but because I don’t want anyone to feel like their time is being split.

When one client leaves, it’s go time. Disinfecting the treatment room, changing linens, restocking supplies, setting up for the next client — and if I’m lucky, sneaking in three sips of cold coffee I abandoned at 9am. The in-between moments aren’t breaks. They’re carefully choreographed hustle time to make sure the next appointment starts on time and runs flawlessly.

I lovingly built our online booking system so you can choose the perfect time slot for you, without needing to wait for a call back (which, let’s be honest, might come at 10:30 pm after I’ve finished folding towels and tucking the ducks in). Online saves this girls sanity, voicemail, text messages, instagram , pintrest, facebook, tick tock , email or website form there are alot of devices and apps that communication can come thru It’s fast, easy, and always available — even if I’m deep in the land of lavender steam and LED masks. Bonus? It keeps everything streamlined and organized, which is vital in a solo practice where appointments are often scheduled to the literal minute.

The sun is out, the skin is sweaty, and the pre-vacation facials are coming in hot. This time of year fills up fast — and I mean "blink and you’ll miss your preferred spot" fast. I highly recommend booking ahead if you have a special event, vacation, or just want to keep that glow consistent. It helps me plan your care more effectively — and it guarantees you a space before the books burst at the seams.

Phone calls while working solo in a high-touch industry just aren’t practical or respectful to the person in the chair. Please trust that I will always return your call or email, but the best way to get your spot is still online booking. If your call goes unanswered, know that it’s because someone just like you is getting the full VIP treatment — and your turn is coming next. Book online. Stay glowing. And thank you for understanding the chaos behind the calm. With love, hustle, and a headlamp for late-night laundry,
