Why do you have a burnt pentagram?

When you come to our spa you might notice a piece that doesn’t match the rest, it’s not bright, shiny and new. Its weathered what appears to be rusty and dirt on it. It might not appear to match or fit in. Today I’m going to explain that piece to you. It might be the most important thing that I own, for you see that isn’t rust, that is the aftermath of being burnt. That dirt that you see is ashes from our former life. That pentagram was made for me by Tanner on our very first Valentines together. I’d never really had a gift made for me before, there is something so incredibly special about something being made. Tanner pulled it out of the ruins and ashes of our life, it was about the only thing to survive our total loss fire. What is a pentagram? It is said to represent the five elements earth, air, fire, water, and spirit. How interesting is it that this is the item that survived the fire? The pentagram was hanging on the wall next to where our propane tanks were located, by the time surrounding fire fighters brought the water tank in they were concentrated in the safety of the propane tanks. Or perhaps it was for entirely different reasons this is what survived and emerged from the ashes. To restore our faith in what we believe in, to continue the current path no one really knows for sure. It was important to me that this piece was returned to Pampered Aesthetics where it has lived its entire life. I didn’t feel right about restoring it. Its weathered and a little bit damaged much like the rest of us coming out of this experience. As we rebuilt, we remembered who we are what we believed in, even in trauma it didn’t shake our belief system. So, to answer many questions asked yes, there is still witchcraft in our house. Much like there is everywhere in the world you turn. It’s what we came from, it’s the life we are trying to return to. Simplicity. Glamour magic is what this industry was believed to be back in the day. Sorcery and trick playing finding the lotions and potions to keep us feeling our best.
