After a mishap with a horse, I ended up with a pretty significant foot injury. And while resting up, elevating, and healing sounds like the ideal scenario, that’s just not possible when you’re a small business owner. The truth is, there are no paid sick days or substitutes to call in. The show must go on, even when you’re hobbling along, hoping for the best. When you run a solo practice, the physical demands are high. It’s a profession that requires standing, moving, and using your body constantly.
