Little Miss Pampered: The Prodigy Who Outsmarted Homeschool and Outpaced College
Because when life says slow down, we say speed up — with great nails. Meet Little Miss Pampered — our resident go-getter, lash slayer, polish perfectionist, and walking reminder that rules were made to be politely ignored.
Now, before we go any further, let’s set the scene: homeschooling. A beautiful, flexible, personalized path to learning. Until… it isn’t. Imagine our surprise when we found out Little Miss had accidentally overachieved — completing four extra courses without telling anyone. Including, apparently, the school. She crushed her exam, submitted everything on time, and was feeling pretty smug — only to be told thirty minutes afterward that she’d, essentially, done too much. And that those four courses wouldn’t count. Because why? Oh, no big deal… she hadn’t been officially enrolled in them. Insert eye twitch here.
What does one do after being kicked out of homeschool for working too hard? Cry a little. Mope a bit. Question the system. Then? You pivot. Hard. Like any rational parent, I sent a very professional message expressing my deep dissatisfaction with the situation (translation: I ripped them a new one), then did what we do best around here: I poured that frustration into possibility.
We enrolled her in a 12-week college program for manicures and pedicures. A nice step, right? Only problem? She finished it in three. Three. Weeks. Before the first payment had even processed. (Seriously. We hadn’t even been billed yet.)
When you grow up in the spa world, watching your mom balance a facial brush in one hand and a Shopify dashboard in the other — you pick things up quickly. For Little Miss, it wasn’t so much school as it was muscle memory. Now, she’s not just trained — she’s certified in: • Lash extensions • Laser hair removal • Manicures & pedicures And get this: she hasn’t technically started Grade 11 yet. Because when you’re raised in the world of beauty, business, and hustle, sometimes you don’t need the traditional steps.
Sometimes you just need drive, talent, and parents willing to flip the script. What’s next for Little Miss Pampered? Everything. She’s already lending her magic at Pampered Aesthetics, offering arm massages at pop-ups, soaking clients' tired feet, and reminding us all that passion beats paperwork every time. Here’s to the kids who don’t fit the mold. The ones who work too hard, love too deeply, and move too fast for red tape. Here’s to the next generation of beauty pros. And here’s to Little Miss Pampered — the prodigy with polish.
